FRACTURED COLLAR BONE OR ARM

Fractures, usually of the collar bone (clavicle) or upper arm (humerus) can occur after a difficult delivery, but can occur after apparently normal deliveries as well. These injuries are associated with deliveries where the baby’s shoulders get stuck behind the mother’s pubic bone.
